Evolution of the Sunburst Award Design
The first Sunburst Award design, pictured left,
was used for the 2001 award only.
Medallions bearing the second Sunburst Award design, pictured right, were presented to the
winners from 2002 to 2006.
The third Sunburst Award design, pictured left,
is the one currently in use. This medallion will be
presented from the year 2007 on.
